Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Physics Engineering.
• 5–10 years of design engineering or mechanical systems design experience, preferably in heavy HVAC.
• Proven track record on large-scale design-build projects with ownership of design scope.
• Ability to translate theory into practical, innovative solutions through collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Act as the single point of ownership for assigned projects, leading both project and design management.
• Lead engineer, managing project timelines, workstreams, budgets, and mentor junior team members with stakeholders.
• Review and enhance MEP drawings to optimize system performance and reduce costs.
• Analyze client energy bills to identify energy savings based on EUI.
• Analyze mechanical/electrical/control drawings and perform site surveys.
• Develop energy conservation measures based on client needs and financial parameters.
• Develop calculations using software and simulations of potential energy savings.
• Select equipment based on energy performance and prepare budgets with financial models.
• Provide technical assistance during construction and monitor performance to ensure savings.
