Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or 5–10 years of verifiable, ground-up custom equipment design experience in heavy machinery or high-speed automation.
• SolidWorks—expert fluency with large assemblies, configurations, and production-ready drawings.
• Practical knowledge of welding (GMAW/GTAW), material selection, and precision machining tolerances.
• Proven history of maintaining project schedules and budgets with stable employment history.
• US work authorization and residency within a daily driving radius of Brown Deer, WI.

Responsabilités

• Lead mechanical design integrity for high-speed automation machinery and robotic work cells.
• Develop concepts and work with Project Managers to brainstorm cost-effective automated solutions.
• Break down design scopes into milestones and coordinate with detailers, designers, and external fabricators.
• Integrate fluid power and drive systems using hydraulics, pneumatics, and servo mechanisms.
• Conduct early design reviews to identify and mitigate safety hazards and ergonomic issues.
• Serve as technical contact for clients while managing BOM releases and shop-floor issues.
