This role offers a base salary up to $120,000/year, first-shift, and a direct-hire path within a small, agile engineering team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or 5–10 years of ground-up custom equipment design depth.
• Expert SolidWorks fluency for large assemblies and drawings.
• Understanding of welding, material selection, machining tolerances.
• Proven project scheduling and budgeting skills with strong tenure.
• US work authorization and residency within commuting radius of Brown Deer, WI.

Responsibilities

• Ground-Up Machine Architecture: Lead mechanical design integrity for high-speed automated machinery and robotic work cells.
• Conceptual Design & Quoting: Develop concepts and collaborate with Project Managers to brainstorm cost-effective automation.
• Project & Team Leadership: Break down design scopes into milestones, guiding detailers and coordinating with fabrication partners.
• Fluid Power & Drive Systems: Integrate hydraulics, pneumatics, and servo systems with advanced engineering principles.
• Design Reviews & Safety Verification: Conduct design reviews to eliminate safety hazards before shop release.
• Client & Assembly Floor Collaboration: Serve as technical contact for global clients and manage BOM releases in real time.
