Job summary

You will ensure designs are functional and manufacturable, oversee BOM creation, and issue design packages for manufacturing and procurement.

The role requires strong CAD skills (SolidEdge/ SolidWorks/ AutoCAD/ Inventor) and experience with engineering drawings, BOMs, and project leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 2 years of related experience.
• Demonstrated design/drafting experience in CAD-focused environments.
• Portfolio of CAD work; ability to read engineering drawings and BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Design bakery equipment using CAD to evaluate form, fit, and function.
• Develop plant layouts to optimize process flow and equipment placement.
• Modify existing designs to meet customer requirements.
• Create BOMs for manufactured and purchased components.
• Lead design projects and provide technical guidance to teams.
• Ensure drawings comply with engineering and manufacturing standards.
