GE Aerospace in the United States is seeking an XBAT AVEN Mechanical Design Staff Engineer to lead the design, procurement and development of components for the vectoring exhaust nozzle module for the F110 engine. You will own hardware and sub-modules and coordinate with cross-functional teams in Lynn, MA or Evendale, OH.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related).
• 8+ years in mechanical design and analysis, aerospace/energy sector preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead cross-functional teams in mechanical design of complex components for XBAT AVEN.
• Conduct advanced FEA for stress, thermal, vibration, and fatigue analyses.
• Issue component and assembly drawings with product definition teams.
• Develop and execute design verification and validation plans and testing.
• Collaborate with electrical, materials, manufacturing, and PMs to integrate designs.
• Prepare technical design reviews and reports for stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for design optimization and cost reduction.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in mechanical engineering.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
