Job summary

SCM Service - Controls - Maintenance seeks a General Superintendent to manage on-site mechanical construction activities across projects. You will supervise operations, plan and coordinate field personnel, and ensure safety and quality standards.

Reporting to the Mechanical Division Manager and Project Executives, you will support hiring, training, and cost control while maintaining client relationships and ensuring project objectives are met on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of construction methods, troubleshooting, and resource management.
• Ability to read, comprehend, interpret blueprints, models, and specifications.
• Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools in mechanical construction.
• Knowledge of OSHA and state safety regulations and relevant codes.
• Required licenses and training to perform duties on the jobsite.
• Knowledge of job cost reporting, manpower projections, and estimating.

Responsibilities

• Supervise operations on the assigned construction site(s).
• Plan, schedule, organize, coordinate, direction, and control of field personnel supporting profit and growth objectives.
• Support hiring, training, and retention of field personnel.
• Oversee QA/QC of mechanical construction to ensure compliance with scope and codes.
• Assist Project Manager with execution and management of project objectives.
• Serve as point of contact with client(s) and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
• Uphold safety by enforcing PPE requirements and safety procedures.
• Travel to assigned jobsite locations and work nights/weekends if needed.
