SCM Service - Controls - Maintenance in Columbia, SC seeks a General Superintendent to lead on-site mechanical construction activities across multiple projects. Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, coordinating field personnel, overseeing safety, coordinating with the Project Manager, and ensuring compliance with codes and project scope.

This senior role requires advanced construction knowledge, ability to read blueprints, manage costs, and enforce PPE and OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• Must have advanced knowledge of construction methods and codes.
• Ability to read, comprehend, interpret blueprints/models/specs.
• Knowledge of materials, methods and tools in mechanical construction.
• Familiar with OSHA and state safety regulations and licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site mechanical construction activities across projects.
• Plan, schedule, coordinate, direct, and control field personnel.
• Oversee QA/QC to ensure scope compliance and code adherence.
• Support Project Manager with objectives and client relations.
• Uphold safety procedures and enforce PPE requirements on site.
