R.S. Harritan in Newport News, VA, is seeking a Project Manager, Construction (Mechanical) to lead commercial mechanical projects from inception to completion, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget adherence.

You will collaborate with estimating, scheduling, purchasing, drafting, and field teams, report to executives, and drive project profitability while maintaining client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
• Ten years direct and independent experience managing large commercial construction projects.
• Proficient in MS Office and construction accounting software.

Responsabilités

• Provide day-to-day leadership and management in the execution of the assigned project.
• Independently oversee all aspects of the assigned project through completion.
• Lead risk mitigation for matters arising out of project performance.
• Drive the project to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow in alignment with goals.
• Provide timely, accurate reports to executives on project status.
• Coordinate with PreConstruction, Scheduling, Purchasing, Prefabrication, Drafting and Executive teams.
• Maintain client relationships and act as a client-care officer for the project.
• Monitor project budgets and labor costs.
• Prepare and present computer-generated spreadsheets and reports.
• Ensure safety audits and a safe work environment on job sites.
