Job summary

NexTier is seeking experienced Mechanics for a full-time role in Lemont Furnace, PA. The role involves diagnosing and repairing a variety of complex mechanical systems, including electrical, hydraulic, and cryogenics, with leadership responsibilities and SAP system knowledge.

The ideal candidate should have 1–10 years of mechanical experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and English fluency, plus familiarity with DOT regulations and the ability to mentor others.

Qualifications

• 1–10 years of mechanical experience.
• High school diploma, GED, or applicable work experience.
• Proficiency diagnosing and repairing engines, transmissions, HVAC, hydraulics, cryogenics, and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations.
• Experience with SAP or SAP Fiori systems.
• English language fluency.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical systems including electrical, hydraulic, and cryogenics.
• Lead HSE meetings and mentor junior technicians.
• Review and approve final repair work before equipment release.
• Present repair plans and results to operations and district leadership.
