Requirements
Must have:
- We need a bachelors degree in systems engineering, computer science, or a related discipline with at least 9 years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree with at least 7 years of related experience; in lieu of a degree, we require 13 years of comparable experience.
- We need 5+ years of hands‑on experience with MBSE tools such as MagicDraw, Rhapsody, or Enterprise Architect.
- We need experience working in a systems engineering capacity on aerospace products or systems.
- We need the ability to obtain a U.S. Government TS/SCI security clearance.
- Preferred: we value CSEP or an equivalent systems engineering certification.
- Preferred: we value experience with SysML.
- Preferred: we value prior experience in the aerospace or defense sector.
- Preferred: we look for strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, particularly in space systems.
Responsibilities:
- We support concept of operations development and requirements analysis, including decomposition and allocation across multiple system levels.
- We develop and apply MBSE methods and frameworks to support engineering programs, with a focus on space systems.
- We perform systems modeling and simulation to evaluate performance and verify requirements.
- We partner with cross-functional teams to align MBSE practices and ensure smooth integration across space system projects.
- We provide technical leadership and guidance in applying MBSE across the organization.
- We train and mentor engineering staff on MBSE tools and best practices.
- We design, develop, integrate, test, and deliver critical space‑based remote sensing solutions for our customers.
