Job summary

Mathnasium is seeking a Lead Math Instructor / Tutor to work with K-12 students, delivering individualized instruction in a group setting and using the Mathnasium Method. The role includes coaching teammates, assessing progress, and communicating results to parents, both in-center and online.

The position offers consistent, part-time hours after school and on weekends, with opportunities for advancement and ongoing training in effective teaching methodologies.

Qualifications

• Passion for math and working with students.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn and be trained.
• Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I.
• Ability to balance leadership and instructional responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting.
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions.
• Communicate student progress with parents and guardians.
• Teach in-center and/or online using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices.
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes.
