Job summary

Mathnasium of Mathnasium (ID: 3500705) is seeking a Lead Math Instructor / Tutor to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting using the Mathnasium Method. This is a part-time, after-school and weekend position with a focus on math proficiency and student engagement.

You will lead a collaborative teaching team, assess progress, and communicate with parents, while gaining experience with the curriculum and instructional tools that support student mastery of math concepts.

Qualifications

• Passion for math and working with students.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn and be trained.
• Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I
• Ability to balance leadership and instructional responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting.
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions.
• Communicate student progress with parents and guardians.
• Teach in-center and/or online using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices.
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes.
