Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to prioritize assignments and work without supervision.
  • Familiar with personal computers; handheld devices preferred.
  • Strong math and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and push 450 pounds.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and receiving processes preferred.
  • Experience with disposable hospital supplies preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Use inventory management system to issue supplies to various departments and generate inventory stocking reports.
  • Utilize handheld technology to process and deliver all inbound shipments accurately and according to standard work.
  • Attend daily MDI huddles to discuss work area, metrics, and schedules.
  • Answer phones in assigned areas to assist customers with a positive tone.
  • Replenish and maintain all supply chain stocking locations.
  • Assemble and maintain Crash Cart trays and carts; manage equipment in emergencies.
  • Performs other duties assigned
