Job summary

Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital is seeking a Warehouse & Materials Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations, oversee inventory control, purchasing, and material flow to support manufacturing operations.

This hands-on role partners with cross-functional teams to ensure materials are available and production needs are met efficiently. The supervisor will coach staff, manage shipment activities, monitor inventory accuracy, and implement process improvements across the warehouse to support

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field.
• Five+ years of supervisory experience in warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing.
• Experience with inventory control, purchasing, and ERP systems in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse team members while fostering a safe, productive environment.
• Assign daily work, establish priorities, and ensure timely completion of warehouse activities.
• Oversee shipping, receiving, storage, material movement, and inventory transactions.
• Review production schedules and adjust material priorities to meet changing demands.
• Create and manage purchase orders for raw materials, packaging, and supplies.
• Monitor open purchase orders, lead times, and inbound deliveries to ensure material availability.
• Build relationships with suppliers and resolve issues related to pricing, delivery, and quality.
• Coordinate replenishment activities to support uninterrupted production.
• Oversee cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies; implement improvements.
• Review slow-moving/ excess inventory and collaborate to take action.
• Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory, and material records in ERP.
