Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler Supervisor to oversee daily material handling and equipment operations at a site in Virginia. You will manage inventory, coordinate deliveries, and mentor staff to improve safety and performance.

The role requires strong MS Office skills, 5+ years in logistics or material handling, and a proven track record in team leadership. A valid driver's license and physical stamina are essential.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with MS Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds as needed.
• Experience managing a team in a logistics setting.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Commitment to safety policies and procedures.
• Clean driving record; CMV authorization may be required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily material handling and equipment operations at the site.
• Oversee receiving, recording, and tracking of inventory.
• Coordinate transportation and logistics with service centers.
• Prepare reports for project meetings and track metrics.
• Mentor staff and ensure adherence to safety and policy requirements.
• Support other projects as needed by the Logistics Manager.
