Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Material Handler Supervisor to oversee daily material handling and equipment operations at a designated job site in Laurel, MD. You will supervise staff, manage inventory, coordinate deliveries, and ensure safety and policy compliance.

The role requires leadership, strong Excel and communication skills, and the ability to plan logistics, analyze metrics, and mentor team members as project needs expand. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years with a High School Diploma/GED or
• 2+ years with an Associate's Degree.

Responsibilities

• Supervising daily operations for assigned job site(s).
• SME on materials, tools, and rental equipment.
• Receiving, recording, and tracking inventory.
• Monitoring onsite distribution and delivery.
• Liaising with Assets Service Center for delivery details.
• Determining transportation mode for inventory.
• Analyzing reporting metrics and budget information.
• Preparing and presenting detailed project meeting reports.
• Mentoring employees to handle increased responsibilities.
• Understanding logistics plans, routes, and schedules.
