Job summary

Caterpillar Fargo, ND is seeking a Material Requirements Planning Manager to ensure production plans align with customer demand, material availability, and plant capacity. You will translate input from sales and production into an executable manufacturing plan and drive alignment across functions.

This role emphasizes collaboration with Operations, Procurement, Warehouse and Engineering to optimize inventory, timeliness and costs, while identifying risks and improving end-to-end supply chain

Qualifications

Ability to analyze information, organize data, assess risks, and make informed decisions.
Clear communication and presentation skills for stakeholders.
Experience managing inventory and production planning.
Experience with ERP and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute supply chain plans aligning demand, production, and inventory.
Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, Warehouse, Engineering to support commitments.
Identify constraints, improve planning accuracy, mitigate risks.
Manage staffing, development, and performance of materials staff.
Define and maintain optimal inventory levels; analyze stock.
