Job summary

FedEx Logistics in Michigan seeks a Maintenance Technician Specialist to lead preventative and predictive maintenance of material handling systems. You will diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and PLC/controls issues, interpret schematics, mentor junior technicians, and coordinate small projects with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certificates in Industrial Maintenance/Mechatronics or related field, or an associate degree preferred.
• Extensive experience in mechanical/electrical/PLC troubleshooting and fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on material handling systems.
• Diagnose and repair complex electrical, mechanical, and PLC issues.
• Mentor lower-level technicians and train operators on system use.
• Develop scopes of work for small local projects and lead execution with the team.
• Utilize EAM software to enter and retrieve maintenance data.
