Job summary
High Concrete Group LLC is hiring a Lead person for the 1st Shift Material Handling crew in Denver, PA. This role starts at 6:00 AM, Monday through Friday, and focuses on daily planning, directing, training, and supervising the assigned area to meet shipping schedules within budget while upholding safety and quality standards.
The ideal candidate has concrete or construction experience, 1–3 years in precast/pre-stress, a CDL A license, and strong communication.
Qualifications
- Concrete/construction experience preferred
- 1–3 years precast/pre-stress experience preferred
- CDL A license required
- Strong communication and follow-up skills
- Team player with leadership ability
- Ability to manage multiple projects daily
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Work in outdoor conditions year-round
Responsibilities
- Train and develop coworkers
- Plan and coordinate shipping tasks for efficiency
- Direct crew to meet quality and production schedules
- Address safety/quality/forming issues promptly
- Assign trailers for shipping as needed
- Preplan shipping trailers for loading/unusual pieces
- Interact with all levels of the organization to meet goals
- Meet safety, quality, cost, and material metrics
- Work outside year-round
