Job summary

High Concrete Group LLC is seeking a Lead for the 3rd Shift Material Handling crew in Denver, PA, starting at 3:00 AM, Monday–Friday, to plan, train, and supervise the assigned area and ensure shipping schedules are met.

The ideal candidate has concrete/construction experience, 1–3 years in precast, a CDL A license, strong communication and teamwork, and the ability to read blueprints and work outdoors year round.

Qualifications

• Concrete and/or construction experience preferred.
• 1-3 years precast / pre-stress industry preferred.
• CDL A driver's license required.
• Good communication / follow up skills.
• Ability to read & interpret blue prints required.
• Working in outdoor elements year round is required.
• Ability to manage / lead a team while maintaining company polices.

Responsibilities

• Training and development of coworkers.
• Ability to plan and coordinate tasks to maximize shipping efficiency.
• Ability to direct a crew of co-workers to achieve required quality and production schedules.
• Ability to problem solve and take immediate action on safety / quality / forming issuesAssign trailers for shipping as needed.
• Preplanning of shipping trailers for loading and storing of unusual pieces.
• Interacts with all levels of the Organization to achieve company goals.
• Meets company metrics related to safety, quality, cost, and material.
• Work outside year round.
