Job summary

CEVA Logistics is seeking a Material Handler II Equipment Operator in Whitsett, NC for 1st shift to lead operations in a fast-paced warehouse. You will manage complex material handling, coordinate receipts and distribution, operate forklifts, and mentor staff to ensure accurate inventory and efficient processes.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 5+ years warehousing experience, forklift certification readiness, and basic software knowledge to support warehouse tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Typically at least five years of warehousing or related logistics experience.
• Forklift certification typically required within 3–6 months of hire; valid driver’s license is preferred.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools and basic warehouse software applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times.
• Lead staff, provide work direction and training across operations.
• Perform forklift operations for heavy and oversized items.
• Coordinate receipts, storage and distribution of materials within area.
• Prepare and assemble orders, pick and count material, move materials between operations.
• Oversee warehouse maintenance and identify operational concerns.
