Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Whitsett, NC is seeking a Material Handler II Equipment Operator for the 2nd shift. You will lead a team, operate forklifts, and manage receipts, storage, and distribution of materials in a safe, efficient warehouse. Strong communication and hands-on leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; typically five years of warehousing/logistics experience.
• Forklift Certification typically required within 3–6 months of hire; valid state license preferred.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools and basic warehouse equipment; familiarity with software is a plus.
• Ability to train and guide staff, prioritize work, and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times.
• Lead staff, provide work direction, prioritize and assign tasks.
• Perform all forklift requirements, including heavy and oversized items.
• Coordinate receipts, storage and distribution of materials, tools, equipment and products.
• Operate hand tools to close/open bales, build crates, and other containers.
• Complete or verify forms and labels to ensure inventory accuracy and tracking.
• Oversee warehouse maintenance and identify operational concerns.
• Prepare and assemble orders, pick and count material, move and load between operations.
