Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Kentucky is seeking a Warehouse Associate to manage loading and unloading of freight, operate forklift, and ensure safe, efficient warehouse operations.

You will verify cargo, record receipts, align documentation, label freight, and maintain excellent customer service for internal and external customers. A High School Diploma or GED, forklift certification, and valid driver's license are preferred; physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 years related experience preferred.
• Forklift Driver Certification; valid state driver's license preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate heavy equipment.
• Promtly respond to customer needs; work well in a team; identify and resolve problems.
• Read, comprehend and complete basic checklists, forms or other related documents.

Responsibilities

• Receive cargo from incoming trucks by hand, pallet jack or forklift.
• Verify and note count and condition of cargo; accept or refuse with notation.
• Record receipts in log books and attach proper documentation.
• Sort cargo by account or destination and store correctly.
• Label freight for destination and assist in containerizing basic loads.
• Develop and maintain excellent customer service for internal and external customers.
• Assist in warehouse maintenance tasks such as sweeping floors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
