Staffmark in La Vergne, TN is seeking a Material Handler Lead on the 1st shift (Mon–Fri, 6:00AM–2:45PM) with a pay rate of $21.67 per hour. The role leads warehouse teams, coordinates staffing, and ensures accurate inventory using RF scanners and WMS.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, forklift certification, a valid driver’s license, and basic computer skills. Applicants must thrive in a fast-paced environment and uphold safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Forklift certification or the ability to complete forklift training
• Valid driver’s license required
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, coach, and support warehouse associates in daily operations
• Coordinate staffing, work assignments, and workflow to meet productivity and customer service goals
• Monitor inventory accuracy, material handling processes, and FIFO compliance
• Oversee inbound and outbound shipping, receiving, loading, and unloading activities
• Utilize WMS systems and RF scanners to manage inventory and track performance
• Promote and enforce safety procedures, equipment inspections, and compliance standards
• Communicate shift priorities, operational updates, and performance metrics with team members and management
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and overall warehouse performance
