Lockheed Martin Corporation in the United States is seeking a Mass Properties Associate Manager to lead a skilled team focused on predicting, validating, and controlling mass properties such as weight, CG, and inertia across multiple programs. You will guide engineers, coordinate with program management, and ensure mass properties are embedded in design and test activities.

The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering or sciences, prior leadership, and active clearances.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace), Physics, or Mathematics.
• Experience leading and mentoring junior engineers in mass properties analysis and control.
• Active clearance required (Secret/Top Secret) and ability to support design reviews.
• Experience interpreting manufacturing drawings and designs using standard modeling tools.
• Experience with mass properties measurements and spin balance test fixturing.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate across multiple projects and organizational structures.

Responsabilidades

• Lead talent management for the mass properties team: recruitment, onboarding, performance assessment, and career development.
• Coach, mentor, and develop junior engineers in mass properties analysis and control methodologies.
• Provide senior-level Mass Properties Engineering support across multiple missile, reentry, and special program portfolios.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mass properties requirements into design, analysis, and test activities.
• Provide technical guidance to program management and customers to ensure performance and compliance.
• Serve as internal technical consultant to align baselines, weight budgets, and customer requirements with LM standards.
