Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree with 12+ years of experience, or a Master’s with 10+ years.
• Proficiency calculating mass properties for components and assemblies with simple tools.
• Understanding of inertia, CG, and mass growth allowances.
• Experience leading mass budgets and change control for flight vehicles.
• Strong writing, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Control, calculate, and communicate mass properties for flight vehicles.
• Develop Python-based mass properties tools and validate results.
• Plan, execute, and document mass properties testing.
• Advise teams on design trades to meet weight and balance requirements.
• Facilitate Mass Properties Control Boards and weight-reduction efforts.
