Job summary
Regal Marine Industries, Inc. is seeking a Systems Expert to lead installation, advanced testing, diagnostics, and quality validation of vessel systems.
This role requires deep technical proficiency, strong troubleshooting, and a leadership mindset to ensure all systems meet top performance and safety standards. You will serve as the production SME for propulsion, Garmin, steering, plumbing, generators, HVAC, and control systems; perform root-cause analyses; mentor technicians; and ensure
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years in marine systems installation, diagnostics, or maintenance.
- Expert knowledge of propulsion, Garmin, steering, plumbing, generators, HVAC, and control systems.
- Proven troubleshooting of complex system issues.
- Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Strong technical documentation and reporting skills.
- Demonstrated leadership in mentoring technicians or leading small teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead installation, diagnostics, and testing of vessel systems.
- Mentor and train technicians to improve skills and performance.
- Ensure compliance with ABYC, NMMA, USCG, and related standards.
- Collaborate with engineering to review designs and installation plans.
- Maintain and calibrate testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
- Support prototype builds, sea trials, and product launches.
