Regal Boats in Orlando is seeking an Automation & Integration Engineer to design, develop, and implement automation and control solutions across FRP boat manufacturing. This role partners with design, engineering, and production to improve efficiency, quality, safety, and process performance.

The position requires a BS in ECE/Mechatronics or related field, hands‑on automation experience, programming, and hardware interfaces; familiarity with Arduino/Raspberry Pi, Rhino/SolidWorks, and FANUC

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in ECE, Mechatronics, Automation, or engineering field
• Experience designing and implementing automation systems
• Proficiency in programming languages for industry applications
• Familiarity with automation standards for control systems
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• CAD experience with Rhino and Solidworks
• Teamwork and cross-functional collaboration
• Experience with microcontrollers like Arduino/Raspberry Pi and Wi‑Fi devices
• FANUC robots experience is a plus
• Conversational English

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to understand automation requirements
• Perform operations design and workflow studies within manufacturing buildings
• Maintain a diverse workload across manufacturing disciplines
• Familiarity with FRP material applications in boat building
• Create and program software for automation control systems
• Develop hardware interfaces for sensors, actuators, and control panels
• Test, debug, and optimize automation software and hardware
• Design and conduct testing to validate performance and safety
• Collaborate with QA to ensure compliance with standards
• Document automation systems and provide training to internal teams
• Stay current with automation technologies and identify improvement opportunities
