Arc is hiring a hands-on manufacturing lead in Los Angeles to direct composite technicians, translate engineering requirements into actionable work streams, and drive safe, high-quality production execution. You’ll mentor teams, coordinate daily priorities, and partner with Engineering to meet timelines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years leading or mentoring technicians in a production environment.
• 3+ years in production/manufacturing.
• Extensive hands-on experience in composites manufacturing.
• Proficiency using mechanical and electric hand tools, test equipment.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and data sheets.
• Physically able to stand 6-10 hours daily and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work extended hours when production demands require.

Responsibilities

• Provides day-to-day technical leadership for composite technicians, coordinating daily work priorities and supporting safe, efficient execution to achieve area goals.
• Mentoring, training, and coaching technicians to develop relevant skills, uphold quality and efficiency, and maintain high morale.
• Acting safety champion of the area, eliminating hazards and driving PPE compliance.
• Partnering with Engineering to translate build requirements into clear technician workstreams.
• Monitoring progress, resolving issues, and escalating risks to ensure delivery against production timelines.
• Overseeing the manufacturing of composite structures (carbon & fiberglass), including trimming, machining, drilling, vacuum bagging, curing.
