Job summary

gpac is recruiting a Marine Construction Pile Driving Foreman in Maryland to lead field crews on marine projects. The role demands hands-on pile driving experience, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate equipment and crews safely in a marine environment.

The Foreman will read project plans, supervise installation of piles, ensure quality and safety, and maintain daily production records. Travel to project sites may be required, with competitive hourly pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of marine construction or pile driving experience.
• Experience leading a pile driving crew.
• Knowledge of pile driving methods, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Experience working from barges or other marine platforms preferred.
• Ability to read construction plans and layouts.
• Willingness to travel as required by project needs.
• OSHA and marine construction safety experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead pile driving crews on marine construction projects.
• Oversee installation of steel, timber, concrete, and/or pipe piles.
• Operate and coordinate pile driving equipment and marine construction equipment.
• Read and interpret project plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Coordinate daily activities with project management and other trades.
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications.
• Maintain quality control throughout pile driving operations.
• Train and provide direction to crew members.
• Monitor equipment and report maintenance or repair needs; maintain accurate daily reports and production records.
