Job summary

Alabama Shipyard is seeking a Pile Driving Foreman to plan, coordinate, and supervise marine construction activities involving pile driving and related waterfront work. This role oversees field crews, equipment, subcontractors, and daily project activities to ensure safe, efficient, and on-schedule completion in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires 5+ years of marine construction experience and 3+ years in supervisory roles, with ability to read drawings and manage safety, permits,

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of marine construction experience.
• Minimum three (3) years of supervisory or foreman experience in construction, marine construction, or pile driving operations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver s license and ability to travel between project locations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily marine construction and pile driving operations.
• Plan work activities, assign personnel, and monitor project progress to meet production schedules and project deadlines.
• Lead crews performing pile installation, marine structure construction, and related heavy civil activities.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and work plans to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Coordinate equipment, material, and manpower needs to support project execution.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and promote compliance with company safety policies and regulatory requirements.
