Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Lead Marine Mechanic in Vallejo, CA to maintain and repair heavy marine equipment, propulsion systems, and diesel engines used on barges and tugs. This direct-hire, non-exempt role requires hands-on leadership and a strong commitment to safety.

You will diagnose, service electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, mentor a small team, and perform preventative maintenance with thorough documentation. 5+ years of diesel/marine experience is required.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience with diesel engines and marine systems.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools, service manuals, and schematics.
• Ability to lead a small team and work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair diesel engines and propulsion systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Direct and support mechanics and laborers to complete projects on time.
• Mentor junior team members on tasks and procedures.
• Perform preventative maintenance and document repairs; assist with rigging and installation/removal.
