Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR seeks a Marine Mechanic to inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair gasoline and diesel marine engines and related equipment.

The role requires reading technical manuals, using diagnostic tools, and working both independently and with a team. Schedule is typically Monday–Friday with potential overtime.

Candidates should have at least one year of experience and a high school diploma or GED, with marine/diesel training preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with marine engines, outboard motors, or related equipment.
• Technical or vocational training in marine or diesel mechanics.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair gasoline and diesel marine engines.
• Perform routine servicing, repairs, and engine overhauls as needed.
• Diagnose problems, identify repairs, and use manuals and tools.
• Maintain records of inspections and maintenance.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair activities with management to minimize downtime.
