Job summary

NSK Steering Systems America in Dyersburg, TN is seeking a Team Technician to support manufacturing operations at the Dyersburg Plant. The role requires performing all functions of a Team Technician and complying with procedures, changeovers, and TS training requirements.

You will enforce safety regulations, lead toolbox meetings as needed, verify process records, evaluate rework or scrap, ensure 4S compliance, and promptly report machine or equipment malfunctions to maintenance.

Qualifications

• Be able to perform all required functions of a Team Technician.
• Follow procedures and perform changeovers as required.
• Complete training assessments in conjunction with TS requirements.
• Enforce safety regulations and provide suggestions for improvement.
• Prepare and conduct informational Toolbox meetings as required by Team Leader.
• Verify process records to ensure processes are running to standards.
• Evaluate process rework/scrap and authorize and record disposition per established procedures.
• Ensures compliance of 4S program.
• Reports machine and equipment malfunctions to maintenance personnel.
