Doncasters in Groton, CT, is hiring a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead a team in a fast-paced industrial casting facility. This salaried role emphasizes safety, quality, and operational efficiency across 1st, 2nd, and Weekend shifts.

You will coach and develop employees, ensure adherence to process controls, and drive improvements to meet customer specifications while maintaining morale and an inclusive, collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or Manufacturing Technology or 5+ years of experience, and at least 1 year managing a group in lieu of degree.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced PC skills and knowledge of ERP Systems.

Responsibilities

• Safely manufacturing a quality product with minimal scrap or rework, while meeting customer specifications.
• Develop and train employees to meet or exceed company goals while maintaining positive morale.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and adapt to changing situations.
• Provide leadership for designated product mix and drive improvements to increase competitiveness.
