Job Description Summary

You will help create the future of manufacturing with a team that is inventing the next generation of metal additive printers. As part of the supply chain organization, you will play a critical role in new product realization and developing robust machine assembly processes. This role develops and operationalizes enterprise master data management across teams supporting Printers New Product Introduction (NPI).

Engineering associated with the manufacturing process. Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or focused on executing professional activities within a technical discipline. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results. The role allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness, etc.).

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Work on "brilliant factories" and other IT-driven manufacturing systems, with expertise in manufacturing.
  2. Manage personnel, including staffing and performance development, utilizing in-depth technical knowledge and analytical thinking.
  3. Understand best practices and how your area integrates with others; be aware of market competition and differentiators.
  4. Connect enterprise master data management resources and data sets to support operational efficiency, data integrity, quality, and governance.
  5. Lead process improvements and act as a critical link across engineering, supply chain, sales, and services teams on enterprise master data management.
  6. Leverage global best practices and participate in business process alignment efforts.
  7. Use enterprise system SME knowledge to implement solutions, resolve issues, develop standard procedures, and train team members.
  8. Own technical project planning and execution, supporting local and global strategies.
  9. Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers and Technicians to understand shop floor challenges and validate solutions.
  10. Serve as a single point of contact across GE Additive TCD supply chain teams to create and govern master data management policies across manufacturing and non-manufacturing systems.
  11. Support NPI execution by enabling supply chain teams to create aligned master data during development phases.
  12. Identify and lead projects to operationalize data management methods across data platforms to enhance data integrity and efficiency.
  13. Partner with the Colibrium Additive DT team to improve data quality and functionality, deploying enhancements as identified.
  14. Provide training and support for Master Data Management processes to supply chain teams at TCD.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of professional experience, or Associates degree with at least 7 years, or High School Diploma with at least 9 years.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in ERP/PLM Data Management.
  • Military experience is considered equivalent to professional experience.

Eligibility Requirement:

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We do not sponsor visas now or in the future.
