Lever, Inc. seeks a Lead Manufacturing Engineer in Broomfield, CO to lead manufacturing engineering for a complex hardware program.

You will drive manufacturability, readiness, and cross-functional collaboration across engineering, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure a smooth development-to-production transition. The role emphasizes creating robust processes, tooling, and production infrastructure while mitigating risks and delivering on time and within cost targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years in manufacturing engineering or related field (development through production).
• 3+ years CAD experience developing/reviewing solid models for tooling and fixtures.
• U.S. Person per contractual requirements (citizen/permanent resident/green card).
• U.S. Government security rules apply; avoid PRC/Russian national status unless U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing engineering interface for a hardware program across subsystems and teams.
• Drive manufacturing readiness strategy, producibility, process development, validation and production transition.
• Coordinate with engineering leads to align tooling, documentation, inspection, and production needs with program goals.
• Resolve manufacturing, quality, and production issues using root-cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Identify and mitigate manufacturing risks across technical, supply chain, and schedule dimensions.
• Review designs for manufacturability, assembly, test, reliability, cost, and scalability; drive producibility.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing processes, work instructions, inspection plans, and process controls.
• Lead tooling, fixtures, fixtures, and production infrastructure development for scalable manufacturing.
• Coordinate prototype builds, pilots, tech transfer, ramp, and ongoing production activities.
• Monitor yield, cycle time, first-pass yield, defects, capacity, and Cp/Cpk; drive data-based improvements.
• Partner with Supply Chain to define manufacturing requirements and supplier readiness.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineering on inspection, process control, and nonconformance disposition.
• Support production planning by identifying constraints and capacity requirements.
• Ensure program-wide alignment of manufacturing deliverables across subsystems.
