Maybell Quantum is seeking a Lead Manufacturing Engineer to accelerate production of dilution refrigerators and lead engineering teams in hands-on assembly and equipment fabrication. The role drives process improvements, quality systems, and production documentation while coordinating schedules and collaborating with design engineers.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in manufacturing, 3+ years leading lines and management experience, strong CAD skills, and a proactive, safety-conscious mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent field.
• 8+ years of work experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• 3+ years of work experience leading a manufacturing line.
• 3+ years of management experience.
• Self-starter who can thrive in ambiguity with ability to drive results independently and through team members.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
• Exceptional hands-on assembly and fabrication skills.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
• Strong CAD & mechanical design skills.

Responsibilities

• Configure and optimize production lines for manufacturing of Maybell’s dilution refrigerators.
• Lead a team of engineers and technicians in performing hands on assembly and fabrication of complex equipment.
• Develop and improve manufacturing processes.
• Implement manufacturing quality and organizational systems.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts.
• Develop work instructions and production documentation.
• Design manufacturing jigs and equipment to improve production quality and throughput.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve system design and DFM.
• Build and manage aggressive production schedules.
