Job summary

Maybell Quantum is seeking a VP of Engineering to lead execution as we scale from R&D into production. This is a hands-on leadership role in a relatively flat organization, reporting to the CEO and collaborating with engineers across regions.

You will build the structure, processes, and a high-performing team while developing future leaders and driving cross-functional alignment with R&D, Product, and Operations to ensure design for manufacturability and reliable production.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of engineering experience with 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary hardware or deep tech teams.
• Proven track record delivering products from concept to production.
• Strong systems-level thinking and understanding of integration and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Own engineering execution from design through production and deployment.
• Lead and develop engineering managers and individual contributors.
• Drive cross-functional alignment with R&D, Product, and Operations.
• Establish scalable engineering processes and metrics.
• Provide technical leadership on system architecture and manufacturing readiness.
