Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a Lead Manufacturing Engineer (2nd shift) at our Clearwater location. You will develop and implement manufacturing processes ensuring safety, quality, and cost targets are met, while building and deploying fixtures and tooling for electronic assemblies.

You will drive lean initiatives, support equipment upgrades, and lead cross-functional teams to resolve root causes, improve productivity, and ensure compliance with ISO/QC documentation across the cell.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience in manufacturing environments.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in electronics assembly environments.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications, strong communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement manufacturing processes with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Create and maintain manufacturing work instructions and related documentation.
• Design and procure fixtures and tooling to manufacture electronic assemblies and products.
• Support equipment upgrades from purchase through installation.
• Drive root cause analysis and permanent corrective actions in cell operations.
