Typical duties include: Leading the team in assessing its strengths and weaknesses and provides leadership to the team in exploring alternatives and determining what improvements can be made (e.g., in work methods, processes and procedures).
Analyzing and evaluating workforce planning and management programs with CBP IT strategy, mission, and goals. Managing complex projects and working groups, including redesigning, automating, and re-engineering processes to meet the varied and changing requirements of CBP IT workforce planning and management.
Developing, refining, and institutionalizing systems for workforce management monitoring, evaluation, and compliance, ensuring alignment with federal regulations and agency policy. Evaluating critical resources decisions and advising leadership on optimizing workforce strategies to address organizational needs, resolve challenges and support mission-critical initiatives.
