Job summary

HEARTLAND BUSINESS SYSTEMS LLC is seeking a senior IT professional to act as a high-level escalation point within our service delivery team. You will diagnose and resolve complex issues across servers, networks, cloud platforms, and security systems while mentoring Tier 1/2 staff and leading major upgrades and security initiatives.

You will collaborate with vendors, provide strategic guidance, and help ensure client environments are compliant and perform optimally within managed services

Qualifications

• Associate degree in technology or equivalent experience required.
• Three or more certifications: CCNA, Network+, Server+, and/or Microsoft 365/Azure.

Responsibilities

• Serve as escalation point for complex incidents and requests in managed services.
• Troubleshoot advanced issues across servers, networks, cloud platforms and security systems.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes.
• Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers to resolve escalations.
• Mentor Tier 1/2 technicians to improve troubleshooting skills.
• Perform proactive maintenance and upgrades of network and server infrastructure.
• Guide clients on technology strategy, lifecycle planning, and risk mitigation.
• Lead upgrades, migrations, and major changes; assist with incident response and security audits.
• Ensure environments meet compliance and regulatory requirements where applicable.
