Job summary

Rush University Medical Center is seeking a Lead Mammography Technologist to supervise and coordinate diagnostic mammography services, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care.

You will work closely with the Breast Imaging Manager, oversee staff performance, maintain equipment, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while optimizing workflow and patient throughput.

This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to mentor staff in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Certification in Mammography (ARRT) required.
• Minimum 3 years mammography experience.
• Proficient knowledge of imaging techniques & ability to troubleshoot equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Breast Imaging Manager and coordinate daily mammography operations to ensure quality.
• Perform diagnostic mammograms and other imaging procedures with timely results.
• Train and mentor a team of mammography technologists, maintaining high performance.
• Ensure equipment is maintained, calibrated, and functioning properly.
