Job summary

Ozarks Healthcare is seeking a Lead Mammography Technologist to oversee mammography examinations and provide clinical leadership. You will coordinate daily workflow, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with FDA/ACR/MQSA standards while delivering compassionate patient care.

The role requires ARRT radiography and mammography credentials, a BLS certificate, and prior mammography experience in acute or outpatient settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification in Radiography.
• ARRT certification in Mammography within one year of hire.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Previous mammography experience in an acute care or outpatient imaging setting.
• Previous leadership, lead technologist, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of FDA, ACR, and MQSA regulations and accreditation requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate workflow, support staff development, and promote quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily mammography workflow and patient scheduling to support departmental efficiency.
• Provide clinical guidance, support, and direction to mammography staff.
• Assist with onboarding, orientation, and training of new employees.
• Monitor compliance with mammography quality control and quality assurance requirements.
• Maintain and oversee required regulatory logs, records, and documentation.
• Assist with regulatory inspections, audits, and accreditation activities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and enhanced patient experience.
• Communicate departmental needs, concerns, and operational updates to the Imaging Manager.
• Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, safety, and excellent patient care.
