Job summary

Orlando Health is seeking a Radiology/Mammography Technologist to perform mammography exams and related procedures in a high-volume setting.

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with a Florida license and ARRT Mammography certification is required, along with BLS. A minimum of 2 years of mammography experience is preferred and the role requires strict adherence to MQSA CME requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid Florida state license.
• Valid Radiology / Mammography registry (ARRT) certification.
• BLS/Healthcare Provider certification required.
• 2 years of Mammography experience.

Responsibilities

• Directs daily workflow and assists the Imaging Services Supervisor, Imaging Services Manager, and/or Imaging Services Director.
• Plans and prioritizes exam scheduling and processing that support the needs of patients and physicians.
• Acts as a resource for new team members and students and assists in training of new technologists.
• Maintains radiation safety to minimize exposure to patients, self, and others.
• Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
