Santiam Hospital & Clinics in Stayton, OR seeks a skilled Mammographer in a lead role. You will perform high-quality breast imaging and DEXA exams, ensuring patient safety and accuracy while supporting early detection and diagnosis.

The position emphasizes MQSA compliance, radiation safety, and excellent patient communication. Expect a flexible schedule with shifts Tue-Sat or Wed-Sat, and participation in ongoing education within a collaborative imaging department.

Qualifications

• DEXA experience preferred.
• Current MQSA/ACR accreditation.
• Current mammography certification and ARRT registration.
• Oregon Board of Medical Imaging licensure required.
• Current BLS certification.
• US citizenship or right to work in the United States.

Responsabilités

• Perform mammography studies and DEXA exams per standards and guidelines.
• Transmit images to contracted teleradiology services and read reports as requested.
• Maintain equipment and perform daily unit checks.
• Ensure radiation safety and patient protection at all times.
• Assist with department paperwork, stocking, and general duties.
• Engage in continuous education and improve department performance.
