Job summary

Two Coast Living is seeking a Lead Make Ready Technician to oversee ongoing maintenance and turnover at our multifamily property in Farmington Hills, MI.

You will leverage 4+ years of maintenance experience, supervise two or more staff, manage work orders and inventories, and set the standard for safety and quality.

This hands-on role requires HVAC/plumbing/electrical skills, EPA/CPO credentials when applicable, a valid driver’s license, and a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant maintenance experience in property management or hospitality environments.
• 1+ year of experience supervising two or more employees.
• 1+ year of experience inventory control, ordering, & procurement.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• EPA Type I and II or Universal License required.
• CPO certification preferred or ability to obtain, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Make Ready board and turnover work to keep schedule on track.
• Address work orders and repairs, ensuring cost-effective, high-quality resolutions.
• Lead by example and mentor maintenance staff; perform hands-on maintenance as needed.
• Engage with residents and staff, addressing concerns professionally.
• Maintain a safe working environment and train team on safety protocols.
