Job summary

First Solar is seeking a Maintenance Team Lead to oversee facility and equipment maintenance, plan headcount, and mentor technicians. The role requires reading schematics, troubleshooting electronics, vacuum systems, and performing repairs to a high standard.

You will report to the Maintenance Supervisor, ensure accurate work-order reporting in Oracle, and drive cost-efficient maintenance while upholding safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma and technical training in electrical/maintenance.
• 5–10 years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and plan daily assignments for technicians.
• Perform on-site service and repair of process equipment.
• Troubleshoot energy sources and implement preventive maintenance.
• Interface with other departments and vendors.
• Follow OSHA, EPA and company safety practices.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Train maintenance technicians.
• Order spare parts for activities.
• Update end-of-shift reports.
• Role may change over time.
