Metropolitan Management Group (MMG) seeks a Lead Maintenance Technician to join our Operations team at the Ponds at Village Greens in Sinking Spring, PA. This full-time role manages maintenance across residential properties with a focus on safety, efficiency, and timely repairs.

Responsibilities include inspecting facilities, diagnosing issues, planning projects, supervising maintenance staff, and keeping cost records. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3 years of related maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to travel to different properties as needed.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Experience in electrical, plumbing, appliances, painting/drywall, carpentry, heating and cooling systems, and welding is a plus.
• Trade school training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Regular inspections of assigned buildings to ensure compliance with standards.
• Diagnose problems and initiate needed action.
• Plan and schedule maintenance work with priorities.
• Prepare, plan, and carry out projects.
• Maintain equipment and supply inventory; issue and order supplies.
• Perform maintenance and repair tasks as assigned.
• Supervise maintenance staff on carpentry, painting, cement, masonry and related trades.
• Maintain cost and time records.
• Schedule relief, emergency, and vacation coverage.
• Follow safety regulations and procedures.
