Metropolitan Management Group seeks a Lead Maintenance Technician for the Ponds at Village Green in Sinking Spring, PA. The role focuses on proactive maintenance, repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting, and supervision of junior staff.

You will inspect properties, plan projects, manage inventories, and ensure safety and efficiency across all buildings. A high school diploma and valid driver's license are required, with travel between properties as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 3 years of related maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to travel between properties as needed.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Experience in electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, heating and HVAC, and welding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections of buildings to ensure compliance with standards.
• Diagnose problems and initiate needed action.
• Plan and schedule maintenance, set priorities.
• Prepare, plan, sketches and carry out projects.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and supervise maintenance tasks.
• Perform maintenance and repair tasks across trades.
• Supervise skilled or semi-skilled workers in carpentry, painting, plumbing, etc.
• Maintain cost and time records and schedules for coverage.
• Follow safety regulations and company policies.
• Handle other duties as assigned.

Metropolitan Management Group (MMG) is looking for a Lead Maintenance Technician to join our team! If you have experience or training in residential or commercial maintenance repair, this may be the job for you!

This role will be at our Ponds at Village Green apartment community in Sinking Spring, PA. Key Responsibilities

• Makes regular inspections of assigned buildings and facilities to insure it is kept according to requirements.
• Diagnoses existing problems and initiates needed action.
• Plans and schedules necessary maintenance, establishing work and activity priorities.
• Prepares, plans, sketches and carries out projects.
• Maintains an inventory of equipment and supplied. Issues and orders equipment and supplies and supervises necessary maintenance.
• Performs various maintenance and repair tasks.
• Supervises skilled or semi-skilled employees in maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, cement work, masonry, and other general upkeep which involves furnishings, structures, floor covering, equipment, heating, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, and related systems.
• Maintains cost and time records.
• Schedules relief, emergency, and vacation coverage.
• Follows safety regulations and standards, and all policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3 year of prior related experience is preferred but not required
• Valid driver's license

• Ability to travel to the different properties/buildings as needed
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Experience in electrical, plumbing, appliances, painting/drywall, carpentry, heating, air handling systems, mechanical repairs on vehicles and welding is a plus
• Trade school training a plus
